Just a stone's throw away, I encountered Fuegos, where I enjoyed a delectable tapas meal that perfectly encapsulated the essence of European cuisine. Bistrot Pierre offered an inviting ambiance, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring local attractions. Though breakfast is no longer served on-site, this was a minor note amid the many nearby restaurants that catered to early risers, enabling guests to sample local flavours at their leisure, a delightful start to any day. The hotel itself impresses not only with its cleanliness but also with the hospitality provided by the down-to-earth owner, Aynsley, ensuring an enjoyable stay. I found my room immaculately prepared, complete with comfy bedding and thoughtful touches like a well-stocked tea and coffee tray. For anyone traveling to Southport, Clifton Villa presents a comfortable retreat that effortlessly combines accessibility to a vibrant culinary scene and the warmth of personal touch. I would gladly return during my next endeavor to explore more of this charming coastal town.
